I remember when I had just joined Sahaja yoga, I came across
a real life incident of a girl - a sahaja yogini. The name is fictitious.
Here is the gist of the incident:
The girl (lets call her Megha) was coming from office
(or college) and to reach her house, she had to cross a lonely stretch of an
alley.
Usually she was with friends, so it didn't matter but one
day she was coming alone and from a distance only she saw some loafer kind of
males loitering in the alley. She was aware that chain snatchers and eve
teasers are active during late evenings!
She started taking the name of Shree Mataji and passed by
the loafers and reached home safely too.
But the next morning she heard the news that one of the
neighboring girls was robbed in the same alley at around the same time when she
had returned.
Since she lived nearby, she was called to identify the
miscreants too.
She confirmed that they were the ones.
The Inspector then asked the loafers as to how and who they
make their target?
They replied that usually girls who are alone - they can be
overpowered easily and are easy prey to rob!
To this the inspector said: But even this girl - Megha- had
passed just minutes ago when you robbed the other girl - how come you left her?
They replied: This girl - yes we saw her pass yesterday
night but she was not alone...she was accompanied by two men - tall and sturdy
who were walking behind her!!
Megha understood who they must be!! Angels protecting
her...although she could not see them - but the loafers could and so they did
not attack her.
Jai Shree Mataji!
